Work for Pass
CZC uses a work/attend model instead of a volunteer model for Canadian citizens, workers and residents. This means that you are responsible for buying your pass, and then we will pay you a minimum of $16.55 CAD per hour ($25 per hour for some time slots) for each hour of volunteering you do. *
For people who are not eligible to work in Canada, a volunteer-for-pass model will still apply. This means that you will not be paid for your volunteering.
Even if you are a volunteer, you will still be required to purchase a pass as a deposit to ensure that you commit to your shifts. You will then be refunded once you complete your volunteer hours. Volunteers can either volunteer for partial hours for a discounted pass, or full hours for a fully complimentary pass.

- Door
- Registration
- Water Service
- Driving
- Competition Support
- Hospitality
- Tech Support
How does it work?
Once you apply, we will review and determine which role(s) are the best match for you at our event. We will then reach out to you to select your shifts. After you complete your shifts, you will be paid.
